Dr Cullen Park — commercially known as Netwatch Cullen Park — is the home of Carlow GAA, located on Pollerton Road in Carlow town. Officially opened on 9 August 1936, the ground was established through public subscription at a total cost of approximately £3,590. Named after Dr James Cullen, a prominent GAA official, the stadium has a capacity of 21,000 and serves as the county ground for Carlow hurling and football. The establishment of Dr Cullen Park was first proposed in 1935. The ground was officially opened on 9 August 1936 by Patrick McNamee of the GAA. The initial cost of £3,590 was funded through community fundraising. Over subsequent decades the ground was progressively improved, gaining a stand, dressing rooms, and modern facilities. Netwatch, a security technology company, holds the current naming rights.
